 Mild – Moderate Acne Study

Who Can Participate? 

Adults aged 18 to 45 years who have acne, may be eligible

Inclusion Criteria 

  • Be overtly healthy as determined by medical evaluation including medical history, physical examination, and laboratory tests as judged by the investigator
  • Refrain from use of any other acne treatments for the duration of the study
  • have clinical diagnosis of mild facial acne vulgaris with:

– IGA score of mild (grade 2 on the 5-grade IGA scale) AND

– Between 10 to 24 non-inflammatory lesions (ie, open and closed comedones) AND

– Between 5 to 19 inflammatory lesions (ie, papules and pustules) AND

– No nodulocystic lesions (ie, nodules and cysts)

Participant Information 

  • No cost to participate or receive study treatment
  • Regular visits with study doctors who are familiar with treating acne
  • Will receive investigational injected vaccine treatment (active study drug) or placebo
  • Reimbursement for study-related expenses may be provided

How Long Will The Study Last? 

  • Depending on which cohort a participant is assigned to, they will be asked to visit the study centre about 14 to 23 times over a period of about 8 to 16 months
