Education and Experience: Dr. Mahnaz Mahmoodi is a GP focused in dermatology with experience in all types of skin cancer especially Melanoma.  Dr. Mahnaz Mahmoodi graduated from AHWAZ University of Medical Sciences. Dr. Mahnaz Mahmoodi graduated from Western University specializing in Family Medicine. In addition, Dr. Mahmoodi has also graduated from Cardiff University in practical dermatology.

Dr. Mahmood believes that skin cancer is preventable and if diagnosed early is curable.  There are however many skin diseases that are not curable and require regular follow up visits with a physician to control and prevent from impact of the disease on the personal, social and functional aspect of the patients’ lives.  Dr. Mahmoodi noticed this high demand for skin specialists while working at Newmarket’s FHT over the last 5 years.  This dedication to the community and her patients led Dr. Mahmoodi’s decision to further deepen her knowledge of Dermatology by successfully completing her diploma in Practical Dermatology at Cardiff University.
