Hidradenitis Suppurativa can be painful to live with – but doctors are searching for ways to help.
People aged 18 and above if diagnosed with hidradenitis suppurativa (HS) have an opportunity to participate in a research trial run by study-doctors who specialize in treating hidradenitis suppurativa.
Participation will be for around 52 weeks, involving 20 visits to the research site, and does not cost anything to participate or receive treatment.
To participate volunteers must:
• Have had HS for more than 6 months
• Have 5 or more abscesses or inflammatory nodules
• Have HS lesions present in 2 or more distinct anatomical areas
• Display inadequate response to appropriate systemic antibiotics for treatment of HS.
If you qualify, you may receive at no cost:
• Access to the study drug
• Close care and monitoring of your condition
• The opportunity to help improve the treatment of HS
