Hidradenitis Suppurativa (HS) is a skin condition that causes painful lumps to form in the hair follicle. As it progresses it can lead to open tracts under the skin that can become infected and eventually burst.
There’s no one-size-fits-all treatment for H.S.—this study aims to find an effective solution.
We are recruiting ages 18-75 to participate in a study of an investigational drug for HS.
There is no cost to participate. Qualified participants will have regular visits with study doctors who specialize in treating HS.
During the treatment period two clinic visits are required per month to receive the study drug and be seen by a dermatologist.
Study Id: CA43-I7P-MC-DSAF
Age: 18-75
Delivery: Injection
Study Length: 67 Weeks
Compensation: May be available for qualified participants.
During the screening period, you will have a visit for tests and health checks to confirm whether you are eligible for the study. If you are, you’ll start the study treatment period within five weeks of screening.
You will have clinic visits every two weeks for 16 weeks. At these visits, you will receive the active study drug, or a placebo and have health checks and tests. After the first 16 weeks, all volunteers will begin using the study drug including those previously using the placebo.
Once you have stopped taking the study treatment, you will have follow-up visits every four weeks for 12 weeks.
